Food For Thought: Spinach and Pea Soup Recipe

I'm sure by now you are all aware of the events that have taken part in the United States. These events have brought an uproar in different communities around the country. Sometimes the United States unite; I just wished we could all unite for good.

Like most Mass Comm professionals, I took media law in college. It was probably the craziest and annoyingly interesting class I've taken. Because no matter what the teacher kept repeating into our heads, I would always argue against the verdict in each case. It was pretty frustrating, because every verdict was always the opposite of what my human instincts were. The biggest lesson learned, one that is actually sad in a way is that, one case sets the precedent for the next. That lesson is what helped me pass the course. But, 'til this day, I have trouble understanding how that is to be...who, why, question is always who said so and because of what?

I'm sure someone could point me to a book explanation for this, but what happened to questioning, and actually looking at things with fresh eyes. There is nothing wrong with asking questions. In fact that is the way new ideas are born, new revolutionary ideas.

Anyway, we need to keep talking about it, until something is done. No, this cannot be brushed under a rug. If you look closely and listen, you'll really notice that there is something truly wrong here. Put your emotions aside and just see it as a whole. Our justice system needs major repair, maybe the whole country does. Let's keep the conversation and actions going until new laws are put in place. I've never been into politics(that's a story for a different day), but I know I can lead. I will step up more and lead through love. I may not be where I need to be, but that doesn't mean I can't help or motivate someone else. I have the intelligence, experience, passion and wisdom to help our future leaders. That is where I'll start. I will step up and be more active, hope you'll join my love movement!

I will update you on my missions, but in the meantime, enjoy this quick and simple soup recipe. My Spina-Pea Soup
