From now until April 15, Brio Tuscan Grille will be introducing a new lively menu entitled “A Variety of Flavors.” This new menu will showcase an array of dishes with a Tuscan twist, and will be available for lunch and dinner at their City Centre and The Woodlands locations. The menus have two exciting new appetizers, three entrées, amazing dessert and wine selections.
I was recently invited to taste their new menu at the City Centre location. If you aren’t aware, Brio Tuscan Grille serves northern Italian cuisine. So you can look forward to finding a lot of oven roasted steaks, chops and seafood dishes. Their new “A Variety of Flavors” menu is rich in flavor from their appetizers to entrees and dessert. I certainly had my favorites that’ll definitely be coming back for. If you’re not sure what to try, my must try items on the menu have been marked with a (*). Hope you enjoy and come back and let me know your experience!
*Spicy Shrimp and Eggplant: Pan seared Shrimp, Romano crusted eggplant, black perpper cream sauce. Now this appetizer is a must! Very delicious, not “fishy” in taste – perfectly prepared. Creative way of serving eggplant.
Calamari Fritto Misto: Pepperoncini, aioli, Pomodoro. You can’t really go wrong with calamari.
*Lobster& Shrimp ravioli: Spicy black pepper cream sauce, spinach, grape tomatoes. Well balanced with the same sauce as the shrimp appetizer
Peroni-beer battered Fish & Chips: North Atlantic Cod, fries, brussels sprout slaw. Not a fave, but fries were good!
*Braised Beef Pappardelle: Rosemary pappardelle, crimini mushrooms, roasted carrots, red onions, tomato porcini sauce. Favorite entrée on the menu, just wow!
Butter Scotch Budino: Italian pudding, marcona almonds, caramel, vanilla whipped cream.*Caramel Mascarpone Cheesecake: (Off menu item) Very rich and decadent. A must!
